BIOGRAPHY

Jhon Clark was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti to a musical and political family in a little town called Marlque on the hillside. He is the son of Senator Jean Jacque Clark Parent who was also the singer and composer for change from the group "Frere Parent" and author of many Books. I guess you can say the apple does not fall far from the tree. Jhon Clark is also singer, song-writer, guitarist and producer by nature. His true interest in music exploded around the age seven. He studied the  guitar and the piano with a professional instructor in Haiti. Although he was learning both piano and guitar, the guitar somehow became naturally his main instrument.  He then had to move to the United States with his sister at the age of 9 to join his mother and two other siblings in New York.  He continued to sharpen his musical skills until he was mature enough to perform his songs with musician friends in school and at local night clubs in New York.

Jhon Clark is certainly no rookie in the music business. His talent has only flourished with time.  He founded the group Black Parents with his cousins in Montreal while he was a freshman at Erasmus Hall high School in Brooklyn. He then would travel to Canada every weekend  to work on that project which was very successful with the song "Sansuel" also known as (Vini M' Pale w Cheri) and a the canaval song "Farinen". His work also includes a performance  in an animation sound track for

Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex with the group Jillmax on the song "Get 9" in Japan. His participation in several konpa records and touring with the band Lakol (Tantan) exemplify his skills as a producer, singer and guitarist. He developed a signature style on his first solo creole album known as "My Creole Chapter" with the hit single "Tashoo" and "Lari a Cho" in Haiti.

Jhon Clark's new world music record is available on the market with every major distributor, such as iTunes, amazon, cdbaby and ect.... The new album was recorded and mixed at his own studio in Brooklyn by Jhon Clark himself. That was the first time he ever produced a record with out having any assistant in the recording process of it. The name of the album is "T Parent". This is a record of mixed genres; from R&B Soul to Haitian Compas and Rara to Hip Hop Creole. While Jhon strives to achieve a musical balance, his style, musical expression and towering voice can only attract more admirers. With this new album, Jhon Clark hope to take many of you on a journey to his musical world.
